Harassment in the Workplace
The CWU take harassment issues in the workplace very seriously. The CWU maintains its zero tolerance position on Bullying and Harassment.
Retirement Age Scrapped
From 6 April 2011, employers will no longer be able to compulsorily retire employees using the default retirement age (DRA) unless the default age can be objectively justified.
New Paternity Leave Rights
If you are a father to be or will share the responsibility with a partner for bringing up a child, you may have the right to Statutory Paternity Leave and Pay. This includes adoptive fathers-to-be.
