BT Wholesale: Paid Leaver Scheme
15 September 2012
A number of resourcing solutions were looked at in regards to the resourcing and projected work volumes in the BT Wholesale National Team discussions with management in May 2012.
One of the options discussed and still being looked at is to bring work into BT Wholesale, but the outcome of potential in-sourcing is slow to progress and it was hoped to be able to report on this before now. Another option, subject to work volumes, was an early leaver package and some of the reduced working time options under the My Time initiative. This is now being triggered and BT Wholesale have sent out details of the scheme, together with the terms which are the normal Group standard with regards to the early leaver payment and the relevant closure times.
Voluntary Paid LeaversThe terms available are one month’s salary for every year of continuous service, capped at a maximum of 12 months’ pay and a minimum payment of six months’ pay. You will need to formally apply by Monday 1 October 2012. All paid leavers are discretionary and applications will be subject to careful operational and eligibility review.
Flexible Working Initiatives
If you are considering one of the Flexible Working options such as reduced hours or unpaid special leave, you can register your interest. All applications will be subject to careful operational and eligibility review. You need to apply by Monday 1 October 2012. Please note that timescales may be delayed if we there is a high volume of applications.
